The problem to solve
Small teams can lose context when schedules, requests and onboarding tasks live in separate tools. This project explores a focused workspace using fictional data, with employee records and live HR connections excluded from the previews.

The overview preview groups upcoming absences and onboarding tasks. Numbers are illustrative, not connected to any employer or employee system.
Submit a request
A proposed flow would let a person select dates, review their request and see its status. The pictured controls do not change any records.
Review with context
A manager view is planned to show only the team information needed for a decision, with permissions checked server-side in the eventual build.
More than a
different colour palette.
A lavender navigation rail balances a warm workspace canvas. Compact request cards, clear status chips and a week-at-a-glance view make the information scannable without resembling a payroll database.
No sensitive field by default
Salary, identity documents, medical details and personal contacts are deliberately absent from the previews.
Status that reads clearly
Written labels accompany colour so request state does not depend on distinguishing a coloured dot.
Roles before features
The future build will need a defined permission model and server-side access checks before any employee records are introduced.

What is the current project status?
This is a personal project in progress. The original branding, interface previews and project scope are in place. Functional implementation and integrations are the next milestones; the preview screens use illustrative data.
How does this relate to previous client work?
I have built client websites and web applications through an agency. That experience informs my work, but this is a separate personal project with its own brand and implementation plan. It is not a renamed client delivery or a completed copy of an employer project.
What do the previews demonstrate?
They show the current interface direction, content structure and planned user journeys. The backend, authentication and third-party integrations described in the roadmap remain planned, not completed engineering work.
