This page explains how alirehmandev.com handles enquiries, essential website functions and optional analytics. You can read the site and send a project enquiry without accepting analytics.
When you use the contact form, I receive the details you choose to send: your name, email address, message and any project type or budget range you select. I use these details to respond, assess the requested work and manage the project conversation. The form works whether or not you accept optional analytics. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information through it.
Google Analytics 4 is optional. The site does not load its tag until you select Accept analytics, or return with an unexpired acceptance saved in this browser. With acceptance, the custom measurement code records public page paths, contact-link channels (contact page, email or WhatsApp) and confirmed contact-form successes. These custom events exclude names, email addresses, messages and budgets; their page measurements omit URL queries, fragments and personalised titles. Google's tag can also collect automatic engagement or interaction events according to the Analytics account settings, as well as technical information such as browser/device information, cookie identifiers and the IP address used to make the request. The custom-event safeguards are not a claim that every remote account setting has been independently verified or that analytics is anonymous.
Accept analytics and Essential only are offered without restricting access to the site. Closing the panel without choosing does not grant consent. Open Analytics preferences in the footer at any time to review or change your choice. Selecting Essential only stops further measurement for this site and clears its accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not erase data already received by Google or recall requests already in flight. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, optional analytics stays off even if an acceptance was previously saved.
The site uses local storage to remember your theme and a versioned analytics choice for up to 180 days, after which a new choice is needed. Accepting analytics also permits Google's first-party _ga cookies for measurement. Essential-only browsing does not need these analytics cookies. If browser storage is unavailable, a choice may apply only to the current tab. Clearing site data removes saved choices and can cause the panel to appear again. Protected administration also uses an authentication cookie; this is separate from visitor analytics.
Vercel hosts and delivers the website and can process technical request/security logs. Neon provides the database used to store enquiries. Resend processes contact-form details to deliver notification emails. Google provides optional Google Analytics after acceptance. These providers process information to perform their respective services, subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and processing may take place outside your country. I do not sell your personal information.
Messages and contact details are used to respond to you and manage the work you ask about. I do not add you to a marketing list without an explicit request. An email or WhatsApp link opens a separate service that has its own privacy terms; analytics consent here does not control that service.
Enquiries and project correspondence may be kept while responding to you, working on a project or meeting applicable record-keeping obligations. Provider logs, backups and analytics data follow the relevant service settings and policies; there is no single guaranteed deletion period for every copy. You can request access, correction or deletion of information you supplied, or ask about retention, by emailing info@alirehmandev.com. Some records may need to be kept for legal or contractual reasons.
