I’m Ali Rehman, the freelance web developer behind alirehmandev.com, based in Lahore, Pakistan. My primary hands-on experience is WordPress and PHP: business websites, Elementor, ACF, WooCommerce and custom functionality. I also build scoped Next.js websites and web applications using AI-assisted implementation and testing.

A business owner should be able to explain the problem without knowing the technical vocabulary. I start with what the site needs to do: explain an offer, take an enquiry, sell a product, or make an everyday task easier.

I have built client websites and web applications as part of an agency team. Those deliveries are separate from the independently branded projects shown here; client code, screenshots and private data are not reused.

Start with the problem, not a rebuild

For a broken page, form, plugin or layout, describe what fails and what should happen. The cause needs review before a fix can be agreed.

  1. Which public URL shows the issue, if it is publicly visible?
  2. What happens, and what did you expect instead?
  3. When did it start, and what changed just before it?

Scope note. Repairs are scoped after review, not offered as 24/7 or emergency support. Backup, staging and safe testing needs are agreed before changes.

A redesign or migration starts with deciding what to keep, what to change and what must keep working. A visual refresh and a platform move are different scopes.
